The Municipality explained that the incentives include a 100% exemption from penalties for building and land tax (roofs) and knowledge tax for previous years, provided that all due taxes and fees are paid before December 31, 2025.

It also added that the decisions include a 25% discount on fees for inspections and returns and compensations, and a 20% discount on building and land tax and knowledge tax and sewage contribution fees for the current year and previous years, provided that the amounts are fully paid before the end of the year.

The Municipality indicated that a retroactive benefit will be granted to taxpayers who have paid the building and land tax and knowledge tax and sewage contribution fees between January 1, 2025, and the date of the decision issuance, where the due discount will be credited to them for the next year along with the added incentive discount.

It also pointed out that a 25% discount will be granted on the prices of road waste with the possibility of installment payments until the end of 2025, in addition to a 25% exemption from the fees due on tenants of properties and buildings owned by the Greater Amman Municipality if paid before December 31, 2025.
