Khaberni - Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan said that Jordanians are eagerly awaiting Thursday evening with optimism and enthusiasm, watching the national football team play in the final match of the Arab Cup against Morocco, wishing Khaberni success and achievement.
Hassan added, during a session of the Senate held on Thursday to discuss the draft law of the general budget for the fiscal year 2026, that the national team has proudly raised the Jordanian flag high with its exceptional performance during its journey in the tournament, presenting an honorable image of Jordanian football.
The Prime Minister confirmed that Jordanians are looking forward to achieving more accomplishments for Jordanian sports on both regional and global levels.
The national football team will meet its Moroccan counterpart at seven o'clock on Thursday evening at Lusail Stadium in the Qatari capital Doha, in the final match of the Arab Cup 2025.
The national team is aiming to win the title for the first time in its history, after a series of impressive performances recently.
The national team has never before won the Arab Cup title, nor has it ever reached the final, with Khaberni hoping to achieve the dream of winning the title today.
