Khaberni - The media advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research / the spokesperson for the ministry, Mohannad Al-Khatib, said that the recent amendments that were approved to the Student Support Fund system in official universities under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research will allocate (2632) partial scholarships and loans to eligible students of the High Royal Grant for the children of teachers working in the Ministry of Education, who have not previously benefited from this grant. He confirmed that these partial scholarships and loans, covering (45) accredited hours, will be distributed to students in both bachelor's and associate degree stages, and will be evenly distributed across all (55) directorates of the kingdom, plus an additional virtual directorate reserved for Jordanian students holding secondary school certificates from Arab or foreign schools, either from within or outside the kingdom.
Al-Khatib added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, during the process of processing applications for scholarships, grants, and internal loans for the academic year 2025-2026, will communicate with the Ministry of Education to obtain the data of these students regardless of their academic level, reflecting it on the applicants without requiring the student or teacher to review any entity, as shown in the infographic below depicting the numbers and distribution of these scholarships and loans across the various directorates of the kingdom.
