Khaberni - Khaberni - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior emphasized the need for citizens to obtain official approvals and licenses from the competent authorities with the Iraqi authorities before heading to the Republic of Iraq for the purpose of practicing the hobby of hunting (Al-Maqnas).
"The Interior Ministry," the ministry said in a press statement today (Wednesday), aimed at clarifying the legal procedures, "It has been noticed recently the repeated observation of violations by a number of citizens related to the practice of hunting on Iraqi territory without obtaining the necessary permits."
It added that these violations expose the perpetrators to legal measures by the competent authorities in Iraq, including seizing the vehicles used and the weapons, birds, and equipment used in hunting, in addition to legal actions against the violators.
The ministry also emphasized that it will take the necessary legal measures against anyone proven to violate regulations and laws related to weapon carrying or practicing hunting outside Kuwait without a license, upon their return to the country according to the applicable laws and regulations.
It called upon all citizens to abide by the laws and official instructions in force within Iraq and to avoid repeating such violations, ensuring accuracy and obtaining information from the relevant official authorities before engaging in any activity outside the country to ensure their safety and avoid legal accountability.
