Free for subscribers Netflix launches FIFA game before the World Cup

The online streaming platform (Netflix) will launch a football video game from the International Football Federation before the start of the 2026 World Cup, scheduled to be held from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, as announced by the sports organization.

Platform subscribers will be able to access the game at no additional cost through (Netflix Games), while the video game development company (Delphi Interactive), based in the United States, carried out the development process.

The president of (Netflix Games), American Alan Taskan, said that the 2026 World Cup will be the major cultural event of the year. With this game, fans will be able to feel the excitement of the competition from their homes; we want to return to the roots of soccer by offering a game that everyone can enjoy with the push of a single button."

For his part, the president of the International Football Federation, Swiss Gianni Infantino, added that this new version "will completely change the concept of sports game simulation and will mark the beginning of a new era for soccer games."
