Jabal Al Lawz in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, today, Wednesday, witnessed heavy snowfall, coinciding with widespread fog on the highlands, in conditions characterized by strong winds and a significant drop in temperature, reaching four degrees Celsius below zero.
Snow and Frost Forecast
The National Meteorological Center's weather report today highlighted the possibility of light snowfall and frost formation on parts of the highlands of the regions of Tabuk and Hail, in addition to the northeastern northern parts of the highlands of the Medina region, with conditions ranging from partly cloudy to cloudy, interspersed with thunderous rainy clouds on the western and southwestern parts of the kingdom.
The center also predicted the occurrence of moderate to heavy thunderous rains that may lead to the flow of torrents, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds in parts of the regions of Riyadh, the Eastern region, and the Northern borders, while the rains will be moderate in parts of the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Hail, and Al-Qassim, with chances of fog formation in parts of these regions.
