Khaberni - An industrial delegation that included the president of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbeer, and the member of the Amman Chamber of Industry, Dr. Iyad Abu Haltam, visited the Aqaba National Training and Employment Complex to review the services provided by the center.
During the visit, the delegation viewed simulation models that reflect the operational mechanisms of Jordanian factories, training models on future professions and specializations, logistics, machinery operation, and renewable energy technology. They also reviewed the complex's vocational plans to integrate artificial intelligence technology into its training operations.
Al-Jaghbeer expressed the industrial sector's appreciation for the advanced level the complex has reached, its significant role in training and qualifying the youth of Aqaba and the southern governorates, and providing them with the skills required for the job market. He added that the chambers of industry will cooperate with the national employment company through the Aqaba National Training Complex and other affiliated institutions to qualify the necessary labor for the industrial sector.
It is worth mentioning that the Aqaba National Training and Employment Complex includes 8 training workshops covering vehicle maintenance, welding technology, and machine operation, the Jordanian-German Excellence Center for Logistics, facility maintenance, a digital manufacturing laboratory, the Aqaba Film Center (in partnership with the Royal Jordanian Film Commission), the Zain Innovation Platform, and supporting facilities including an information technology laboratory, a multipurpose hall, and a language lab, while the complex's capacity accommodates 240 trainees.
