The army begins conducting medical examinations for conscripts photos

Khaberni - The armed forces began today, Wednesday, conducting the necessary medical examinations for the conscripts by distributing them to the responsible medical committees within the kingdom's geographical regions to facilitate the procedures and save time and effort for them.

The head of the Mobilization Department and the People's Army said: "The conscripts have been distributed across three regions, and military hospitals and medical centers have been designated according to a geographical division, until next Tuesday, December 23, as follows:

1. Northern Region: Includes the provinces of Irbid, Jerash, Ajloun, and Mafraq, where the conscripts will be received at the Prince Rashid Military Hospital in Irbid province.

2. Central Region: Includes the capital Amman and the provinces of Zarqa, Madaba, and Balqa, where Khow Medical Center, located next to the military recruitment center in Zarqa province, has been allocated to receive the conscripts.

3. Southern Region: Due to the distances, it has been divided between two military hospitals, which are:

Conscripts from Karak and Tafilah provinces in Prince Ali bin Al Hussein Military Hospital in Karak province.

Conscripts from Ma'an and Aqaba provinces in Prince Hashim bin Abdullah II Military Hospital in Aqaba province.

On his part, the director of medical committees and health insurance stated that the conscripts will undergo all planned medical examination stages to ensure their physical fitness, explaining that the conscript will not be granted a medical grade for recruitment, but classified as either fit or unfit.

This arrangement comes as a commitment by the Jordanian Armed Forces to facilitate the reception process of the conscripts and to distribute them fairly among the military hospitals and medical centers, ensuring the speedy completion of their medical and administrative processes, and reflecting the importance of military service as a national duty that reinforces values of belonging and responsibility among Jordanian youth.
