Khaberni - The governor of Daraa, Anwar Al-Za'bi, sent an official letter to the Farmers' Union in the province, requesting approval to appropriate all the properties listed within the real estate area (Numr/1) in order to implement a new border crossing project with Jordan.
This request, dated December 9, 2025, is part of official actions paving the way for the establishment of the new crossing, despite no official announcement about the project having been made by the Syrian government or the Jordanian side as of yet.
The document includes the numbers of dozens of properties located in the border area in Daraa, which are expected to be included in the plan for the new crossing.
