Khaberni - The Jordanian Armed Forces started their work on Wednesday, resuming operations of the Jordanian field hospital in the area of Tel Al-Hawa, North Gaza Strip, after completing the maintenance and preparations it recently underwent.
The hospital began its first phase by receiving emergency and critical cases, with plans to gradually expand services to include specialized clinics, laboratory, and radiology department, contributing to alleviating the significant pressure faced by the health sector in North Gaza Strip.
The hospital had suffered damages due to the conditions and field developments last September, preventing patients and visitors from reaching it, which necessitated the relocation of its staff towards the south of the Gaza Strip until the security situation improved.
A comprehensive technical evaluation was then carried out, followed by repair and maintenance work on the buildings and medical equipment, aiming to ensure their full readiness to receive patients and provide the necessary medical and therapeutic services.
The medical and nursing staff will continue to perform their humanitarian duty despite the challenges and difficulties, within the framework of the relief role undertaken by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, always committed to supporting the Palestinian brethren and alleviating their suffering.
