Trump Adds 5 Countries to US Entry Ban List

Khaberni - The White House confirmed that President Donald Trump signed an executive order that expands the United States entry ban to include new countries and modifies the restrictions on others, while also enshrining the entry ban for citizens of the 12 countries previously covered by the June decree.

Main details of the extension of restrictions on countries
The new decree introduced amendments and expanded the scope of restrictions imposed, with complete restrictions on the entry of nationals from five new countries: Syria, South Sudan, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger.

The decree also imposed partial restrictions on the entry of nationals from fifteen countries, including: Mauritania, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and Gabon.

Full restrictions were imposed on the entry of nationals from Laos and Sierra Leone, after they were subject to partial restrictions in the previous decree.

The presidential decree also stipulated a complete ban on entry into the United States for anyone holding travel documents issued by the Palestinian Authority.
