The site stated: "A monument resembling the American Statue of Liberty, located in front of the Havan store in Guaiba, collapsed under the force of a fierce storm."
The site indicated that the wind speed in the area at the time of the collapse was 90 kilometers per hour.
According to the report, the statue fell from its base and sustained severe damage. The total height of the statue, including its base, was 35 meters.
