Khaberni - Former MP Amjad Al-Muslmani has urged the brotherly Qatari government to take urgent measures and provide special facilities for obtaining visas, coinciding with our national Nashama team reaching the final of the Arab Cup, thus enabling the Arab fans to attend the matches and support their teams at this unifying Arab event.
Al-Muslmani confirmed the noticeable delay in issuing some visas, which sometimes are not issued until after the matches have ended, denying the fans a real participation in the tournament and negatively affecting the public attendance.
He explained that visas issued through the designated website should be processed within hours at most, not extending waiting periods to more than 48 hours, or several days as happens in some cases, especially given the short duration of the tournament and the timing sensitivity of the matches.
Al-Muslmani pointed out that this important Arab sports event requires exceptional procedural flexibility, especially since the state of Qatar has always been known for its good organization and its keenness to host Arab fans, as well as the brotherly relationship that links the Jordanian and Qatari people, and the Jordanian fans' desire to visit Qatar and participate in this event.
Al-Muslmani concluded by emphasizing that facilitating visa procedures will contribute to the success of the Arab Cup and reflect a positive image of the State of Qatar, while fully maintaining the security requirements and guarantees followed
