Khaberni - A number of displaced individuals were injured on Monday, due to the collapse of a wall on one of their tents in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, as a result of the heavy rains accompanying the low-pressure system hitting the sector.
The Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" reported that the wall collapsed due to the intensity of the winds and the heavy rainfall, resulting in injuries among the displaced residents of the tent, who were transferred to medical centers for treatment.
In the same context, the heavy rains caused the flooding of a large number of tents of the displaced in various areas of the Gaza Strip, especially in the low-lying areas, exacerbating the suffering of thousands of families living in difficult humanitarian conditions due to the lack of resources and absence of means to protect against severe weather conditions.
On another note, 10 liberated prisoners arrived at the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah after being released by the Israeli occupation forces a short while ago and handed over to the Red Cross teams.
Medical sources reported that the prisoners underwent initial medical examinations, amid difficult health conditions due to the circumstances of their detention in "City Man" prison.
