Khaberni - In embodiment of the sublime royal vision that emphasizes the participatory and integral approach between the state's institutions and the private sector, the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Association of Tourism Offices and Travel Companies received the Director of the Hajj and Umrah Directorate at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Engineer Majdi Batoush, during an official visit aimed at enhancing joint cooperation and developing the working mechanisms related to the Hajj and Umrah file.
Receiving Engineer Batoush were the President of the Association's Board, Mahmoud Khassawneh, and other board members, who affirmed that this visit translates the royal directives encouraging effective partnership, and unifying efforts between official entities and civil society institutions, all serving the supreme national interest and contributing to the enhancement of services provided to Jordanian pilgrims.
The meeting witnessed an extensive dialogue that addressed the reality of the Hajj and Umrah sector, the most prominent challenges facing the tourism and travel offices and companies, in addition to discussing ways to improve performance, enhance organization, and elevate quality levels in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions, achieving best professional practices.
The two parties emphasized the importance of real partnership between the Ministry of Awqaf, represented by the Directorate of Hajj and Umrah, and the Jordanian Association of Tourism Offices and Travel Companies, considering it a fundamental partner in implementing programs and plans related to Hajj and Umrah, which ensures institutional discipline, enhances trust, and unifies efforts to serve the Guests of the Merciful.
For his part, Engineer Majdi Batoush valued the vital role played by the Association and its board of directors in organizing the sector and representing the interests of the tourism offices and companies, affirming the Ministry of Awqaf's commitment to continue constructive dialogue, listening to observations and suggestions, and working as one team, in harmony with the sublime royal vision.
At the end of the visit, it was confirmed the importance of continuing coordination and regular communication, which enhances joint work, achieves collaboration goals, and reflects the civilized and institutional image of the Hajj and Umrah sector in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
