Decline in Global Oil Derivatives Prices During the Second Week of December

Khaberni - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources issued its weekly publication for oil derivatives and Brent crude prices in the reference global markets for the current second week of December, which showed a decrease in the prices of most oil derivatives, while the price of liquefied petroleum gas recorded a notable increase.

The bulletin reported that the average price of 95 octane gasoline in the second week of December was $680 per ton compared to the average price in the first week which was $693, thus recording a decrease of about 1.9%.

The average price of 90 octane gasoline in the second week was $662 per ton compared to $674 in the first week, with a decrease of about 1.8%.

As for diesel, its price decreased from $615 per ton in the first week to $598 in the second week, with a decrease rate of about 2.8%.

The price of kerosene decreased from $676 to $656 per ton, a reduction rate of about 3%.

The average price of heavy fuel oil also decreased from $337 to $334 per ton, with a decrease rate of about 0.9%.

Meanwhile, the average price of liquefied petroleum gas increased from $464 per ton in the second week of last November to $488 in the first week of the current December, an increase rate of about 5.2%.

As for Brent crude, the average price in the second week of December decreased to $63 per barrel compared to the average price in the first week which was $64, with a decrease rate of about 1.6%.
