Annual Inflation in Saudi Arabia Records 19

Khaberni - Government data published today, Monday, shows that annual inflation in Saudi Arabia was recorded in November (November) 1.9%.

The General Authority for Statistics attributed the increase in the consumer price index in the kingdom to the rise in housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuel prices 4.3%, food and beverage prices 1.3%, and transportation prices 1.5%.

On a monthly basis, the consumer price index recorded an increase of 0.1% in November.

The authority indicated that the overall consumer price index witnessed varied movements among its main groups, according to the methodology adopted in measuring inflation.

It confirmed that monitoring inflation indicators is part of its ongoing efforts to monitor economic variables, provide accurate data that helps in supporting decision-makers, and enhancing transparency in economic indicators in the kingdom.
