Khaberni - The family of the Egyptian actor Adel Imam has been stricken by the death of his sister Mrs. Iman Imam, the widow of the late actor Mustafa Metwally. The details of the funeral and the condolence gathering have not yet been disclosed.
Actor Tamer Abdel Moneim announced the death on his Facebook page, saying: "My deepest condolences to the leader Adel Imam and the family on the death of Mrs. Iman Imam. To God we belong and to Him we shall return."
Iman Imam is the youngest sister of the actor Adel Imam. She was married to the deceased actor Mustafa Metwally and bore him two sons, actors Omar Metwally and Adel Metwally.
In a previous journalistic interview, "Iman" spoke about the beginning of her acquaintance with her late husband, actor Mustafa Metwally, which happened by chance when she first saw him in the company of her brother Adel Imam in the Ajami district of Alexandria.
Actor Mustafa Metwally passed away after performing in the play "Bodyguard" on the evening of Saturday, August 5, 2000, when he suffered a sudden heart attack and died immediately.
Last appearance of the leader
On the other hand, the last appearance of the actor Adel Imam was during his participation in the wedding contract ceremony of his grandson "Adel", son of director Rami Imam, in a rare family appearance that reassured his fans, and ended a wave of rumors and questions that had been following him recently regarding his health condition.
