Khaberni - China and Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, signed a mutual visa exemption agreement for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports.

In detail, Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China, visited Saudi Arabia on December 14, as part of enhancing Saudi-Chinese relations and in response to an invitation from Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Foreign Minister.

During the visit, the mutual visa exemption agreement for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports was signed.

The two ministers held a session of talks during which they reviewed the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and praised the level of relations in all fields, including economic, trade, investment, and energy.

They noted that this visit coincided with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which has seen significant development and convergence of visions that benefits both peoples and countries.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and Wang Yi also held the fifth session of the political committee emanating from the high-level joint Saudi-Chinese committee, where they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in all fields.

Both sides expressed their intention to support each other in matters concerning their vital interests, and their support for anything that achieves security, stability, development, and prosperity in both countries in a way that meets the aspirations.

The Saudi side reaffirmed its commitment to the One-China policy, stating that the government of the People's Republic of China is the only legitimate government representing China as a whole, and that Taiwan is an inalienable part of Chinese territory.

The Chinese side expressed its support for the development and enhancement of Saudi-Iranian relations and appreciated the leadership role of the Kingdom and its efforts towards achieving regional and global security and stability.
