Throughout a Year 380000 New Users for EWallets in Jordan

Khaberni - A report from the Jordanian Company for Payment and Clearing Systems "JoPACC" showed an increase in the activity of e-wallets in Jordan during November 2025 compared to the same month last year, where the number of activated wallets exceeded 2.78 million compared to 2.4 million in 2024, increasing by 15.8% and approximately 380,000 new wallets.

According to the report, 10.1 million transactions were conducted through the wallets, approximately double the volume in November 2024, which was 5.56 million transactions.

The total value of transactions reached 526 million dinars, registering a growth of about 18% compared to the same month last year, which was 444 million dinars.

Despite the increase in total value, the average transaction value decreased to 52 dinars compared to 80 dinars in 2024.

The report highlighted that money transfers between wallets still accounted for the largest share of the activity, but its share decreased from 91.4% to 84.7% of the number of transactions, while the share of purchase transactions increased from 3.45% to 14.4%, exceeding the purchase value of 90.9 million dinars with an increase of more than 540%.

Regarding the users, Jordanians topped the list of wallet users at 87.8%, with a slight increase in the share of non-Jordanians to 12.2%, and the male percentage increased to 52.7% compared to 50% last year.
