Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the employees in the Anti-Narcotics Department, through their daily efforts to pursue all drug traffickingcases, promoting and smuggling drugs, have dealt with 14 significant cases in the past few days
Among the most notable is the arrest of a regional gang involved in drug smuggling. In detail, a special investigation team from the department followed information about collaboration of individuals inside the kingdom with a regional network for smuggling drugs, leading the investigation to identify three persons of foreign nationality who entered kingdom and handed over large quantities of the narcotic substance hashish to two persons inside the kingdom.
The spokesperson added that all involved individuals' locations were pinpointed, and the three foreigners were arrested inside their vehicle while the other two individuals were raided at their location in the south of the kingdom and were arrested, and seized 270 kilograms of hashish and an automatic firearm were found in their possession.
