Khaberni - The Israeli Channel 12 reported today, Sunday, that Israel informed the United States that the progress towards the second phase in Gaza is conditional on the delivery of the last body held by the movement.
It also added that Israel still refuses to begin the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip unless the disarmament of Hamas is achieved.
In response, the United States assured Israel of stripping Hamas of its weapons, according to Channel 12.
It is mentioned that since October 10th, a fragile ceasefire has been in effect between Israel and Hamas, while both sides exchange accusations of violating it.
Meanwhile, the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, which sponsored this agreement, is pressing for the transition to the second phase, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirming that this transition will be "complicated".
