Namroqa Nowhere are crises more clearly manifested than in our region

Khaberni - Dr. Nancy Namroqa, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, chaired the Jordanian delegation participating in the eleventh edition of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations International Forum, which began its activities today, Sunday, in Riyadh, under the title "Two Decades of Global Dialogue: Achievements, Challenges, and the Road Ahead".
In her speech at the forum, Namroqa said, "The world is burdened with escalating crises, ethical, humanitarian, environmental, and geopolitical, pointing out that there is no place where these crises are more clearly manifested than in our region".
She added, "We must raise our voices loud to demand accountability. We must act collectively to establish justice, preserve human dignity, and end the humanitarian catastrophe".
She affirmed that Jordan recognizes that the moral compass of nations is shaped by their ability to coexist, mentioning that we are proud of our legacy in interfaith dialogue initiatives, starting with the Amman Message (2004) which reaffirmed the message of Islam in peace and unity, followed by the "A Common Word" initiative (2007) that enhanced communication between Islamic and Christian thought, leading up to the World Interfaith Harmony Week, a Jordanian initiative unanimously adopted by the United Nations General Assembly.
The forum was attended by the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Forum Miguel Moratinos, ministers, political and religious leaders, heads of international organizations, and civil society representatives.
It is noted that the forum aims to showcase the achievements of two decades of global dialogue, discuss current challenges, and explore the future of joint work; to enhance understanding among peoples and build bridges of communication that contribute to supporting international peace and stability.
