Khaberni - An Israeli channel and activist revealed that Rabbi Eli Schlinger, who was killed on Sunday in an armed attack in Sydney, visited Israel and met with soldiers to encourage them to continue the genocide in Gaza.
Over more than two years, the Israeli genocide in Gaza has left more than 70,000 Palestinian martyrs and 171,000 injured, most of them children and women, which has sparked global public outrage and led to Israel's international isolation.
12 people were killed and 29 others injured in an armed attack today, Sunday, during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah (Festival of Lights) at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.
Among the dead was Schlinger, an emissary of the Jewish movement "Chabad" (extremist) in Australia, according to the official Israeli Broadcasting Authority.
"Chabad" refuses to recognize the rights of the Palestinian people under occupation and opposes any settlement that grants them any part of their occupied territories that Israel has occupied for decades.
Israeli activist and journalist Hanoch Daum said via his Instagram account: "Among the dead of the attack was Rabbi Eli Schlinger, an emissary of the Chabad movement."
Daum added that after October 7, 2023, "Schlinger visited Israel to provide support and encouragement," referring to the Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
Channel 12 (private) published a photo of Schlinger sitting among Israeli army soldiers on a military vehicle, and it is unclear whether it was in Gaza or another place.
Schlinger prides himself on his support for the Israeli army, which has committed genocide in Gaza, according to the United Nations and international human rights organizations.
By tracking his accounts on social media platforms, it appeared that Schlinger used his picture on the military vehicle as a profile picture on Facebook and Instagram.
