Salah avoids escalating the crisis with Liverpool with a sarcastic comment

Khaberni - Egyptian star Mohamed Salah avoided stirring up controversy again after participating in Liverpool's win over Brighton with two unanswered goals last Saturday, in the 16th round of the English Premier League football.

Salah started the match from the bench for the fourth consecutive game, amid his crisis with Liverpool management and coach Arne Slot, but he came on as a substitute in the 25th minute after his teammate Joe Gomez was injured.

The Egyptian star managed to assist the second goal for Liverpool, scored by Hugo Ekitike, by sending a corner kick that the French striker headed into the net.

After the match, a video circulated on social media showing Salah walking behind his Dutch teammate Virgil van Dijk, the team captain, in the media area at "Anfield", where the Liverpool versus Brighton match took place.

A reporter asked "Mo Salah, do you want to talk again?", to which the Egyptian star replied jokingly, "Speak twice in one week? No."

Salah caused a major stir last week with his controversial statements attacking his coach Arne Slot and the club management after the match against Leeds United due to sitting on the bench.

Salah is preparing to join the Egyptian national team, which will participate in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco from December 21 this year until January 18 next year.
