Khaberni - The coach of the Saudi national team, Frenchman Hervé Renard, confirmed the readiness of the Saudi Green to face the Jordanian national team in the anticipated match that will bring them together in the semi-finals of the Arab Cup, emphasizing the importance of qualifying for the final match for the fans of the Saudi team.
Renard said on Sunday during the press conference preceding the encounter, "After advancing to the semi-finals, the priority was to rest the players following the match between Saudi Arabia and Palestine. He added, "We will be ready for the match against the Jordanian team, and we must reach the final of the Arab Cup for our fans."
He pointed out that the players of the Saudi national team possess full professionalism, asserting that the whole team is ready to enter this important match, adding: "Our players are professional, and we are ready for the match, the whole team is ready for tomorrow's encounter."
Renard also discussed his relationship with the Jordanian national team coach Jamal Salami, describing him as a friend and Moroccan brother, and said: "Jamal Salami is my friend, he helped me a lot when I was coach of the Moroccan national team, and he has a good technical vision, I love him a lot; because he is one of the most respectful people."
On his part, the Saudi national team player Nawaf Boushel expressed his great respect for the Jordanian national team, affirming "the Green's" aspiration to qualify for the final match.
Boushel said: "The Jordanian team is very respected, and we aim to qualify from the semi-final," noting that the support of the Saudi fans forms a significant motivation for the team.
The national football team will meet its Saudi counterpart at 8:30 PM on Monday, in the match that will take place at Al-Bayt Stadium in Doha, in the Arab Cup 2025 semi-final hosted by Qatar.
The Nashama team seeks to achieve the victory, and qualify for the final match for the first time in its history, in the quest for their first title in the Arab Cup tournaments.
