Deputy AlDharawi Who should resign The citizens or the Minister of Industry and the Director of Standards

Khaberni - addressed Deputy Mohammad Jameel Al-Dharawi strong criticisms to the government, calling for the Minister of Industry and Trade Yarub Al-Qudah and the Director of the Standards and Metrology Corporation Abeer Al-Zuhair to submit their resignations immediately, due to the "Sunflower" stove incident which resulted in the death of 10 citizens within a few days.

Al-Dharawi said today, Sunday: "Any official who can resign should have a bit of integrity and do so," wondering: "Who is more deserving of resignation, the citizen who lost his family or the official who allowed these stoves to be distributed?".

He added sarcastically about some official justifications: "The Minister of Industry and the Director of Standards state that what happened will not pass lightly! Apparently, it's the citizens who will pay the price again... Let them submit their resignations if they have a sense of responsibility".

Al-Dharawi criticized official statements that described the heater as "an outdoor stove," saying: "What stove? This is a heater that everyone has been using in their homes for the past five years, where is the official who approved its entry into the market? Bring him here and see where he lives; probably in an area without frost!".

Al-Dharawi demanded accountability for all officials responsible for allowing these types of heaters into the local market without proper oversight, warning against compromising the lives of citizens, and considering what happened "an unforgivable crime".
