Khaberni- In the context of the bank's commitment to supporting national healthcare institutions and enhancing its role in corporate social responsibility, the Jordan Kuwait Bank and the King Hussein Cancer Foundation signed a strategic cooperation agreement aiming to market and promote the "Care Insurance" program to cover cancer treatment, at the bank's head office in the capital Amman.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Jordan Kuwait Bank by the CEO of the Group, Haitham Al-Batikhi, and on behalf of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation by the General Director, Nasreen Qatamish, in the presence of senior staff from both sides.
Under this agreement, Jordan Kuwait Bank will promote the "Care Insurance" program, which is one of the programs of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation in response to the continuous increase in the number of cancer patients and the rising costs of treatment, through utilizing its authorized electronic and non- electronic channels to receive program subscriptions across various provinces of the kingdom.
In his comment, Al-Batikhi expressed the bank's pride in enhancing its partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, pointing out that this initiative reflects the bank's approach in supporting health services and providing financial protection, which helps empower the community to face serious diseases and alleviate their burdens. He assured that the bank will continue working to expand its services and programs aimed at enhancing sustainable development and improving the quality of healthy lives in the kingdom.
For her part, the General Director of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, Nasreen Qatamish, appreciated the cooperation of Jordan Kuwait Bank and its belief in the foundation's mission and humanitarian role, and affirmed that providing the "Care Insurance" program represents a crucial step in enhancing the level of health security for individuals and families, allowing them to benefit from quality treatment services at the King Hussein Cancer Center. She added that this agreement opens up access to wider segments of the Jordanian society, and contributes to establishing a sustainable support system that prioritizes human health.
This partnership extends the efforts of both parties to enable individuals and families to benefit from quality services that improve public health and reflect the commitment of both institutions to building a sustainable support system that protects humans first.
It is worth mentioning that the "Care Insurance" program is a social solidarity (non-profit) program that offers participants the opportunity for treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center, one of the leading cancer treatment centers in the Middle East.
