The President of Amman Ahliya University Honors Winning Students in National Competitions

Khaberni - The President of Amman Ahliya University Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan honored the winning students in several national competitions, celebrating the achievements they made and elevated the university's name among its peers.

The honoring included the Information Technology College team that won first place in the SheHacks competition designed for female students, organized by the Green Circle company, attended by its CEO Engineer Mohammad Al-Khudari, with the participation of 49 teams from 27 Jordanian universities.

The team included students: Lamis Shaath, Sally Kabariti, Rania Matar, and Heba Al-Khararbeh, under the supervision of Dean of the College of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Qatawneh, lecturer Nidaa Al-Shafei, and Mr. Hussein Al-Zghatit.

The university president also honored student Ali Shibli for his role in presenting the closing event of the "Zain E Sports" electronic sports championship for universities.

The honoring also included the university basketball team after they secured the second place in the 3x3 basketball championship for students among Jordanian universities, including the university’s national team: Abdullah Shatat, Youssef Al-Ba'boush, Tayeb Muntasir Qasim, Fadi Al-Nazli, organized by the Jordanian Universities Sports Federation.

Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan confirmed that the achievements made by the students represent a solid proof of the university's academic leadership and advancement at the level of Jordanian universities, indicating that the students topping the podiums in global and national competitions reflects the genuine investment the university provides in building a generation capable of creativity, innovation, and competing with confidence and competence.

Hamdan emphasized that the university continues to support its students, providing all the necessary training opportunities, care, and development, affirming that their excellence is a source of pride and reflects the distinguished status the university has reached in various scientific, technical, and sports fields.

The honoring ceremony was attended by Dean of the College of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Qatawneh, Dean of Student Affairs Professor Dr. Mustafa Atiyyat, Arena Complex Manager Mr. Nader Sweidan, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs Mr. Essam Al-Sahhar, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Lozi.
