30 million euros separate Real Madrid from dismissing Alonso

Khaberni - Khaberni - Spanish media confirmed that the dismissal of Xabi Alonso from his position would cost Real Madrid a total amount of upto 30 million euros, if the club decides to terminate the contractual relationship with the Spanish coach during the coming period.

Insider Real mentioned on X that according to the data, this number is divided into two main parts, the first being the value of the penalty clause or the compensation due to the coach, which is estimated at about 15 million euros, as a result of terminating the contract before the set date.

The second part involves an amount previously paid by Real Madrid to Bayer Leverkusen, also amounting to 15 million euros, for completing the contracting process with Xabi Alonso, which raises the total cost of any decision to dismiss to a significant financial figure.

It was pointed out that these figures highlight the economic complexities accompanying decisions to change technical staff in major clubs, especially when it involves coaches associated with large contracts and costly transfers, which makes any step of this type subject to precise calculations that go beyond the sporting aspect.

Spanish media affirmed that given these circumstances, the future of Xabi Alonso remains linked to a comprehensive assessment by the management of Real Madrid, balancing between the results on the field and financial commitments, at a time when pressures increase with rising expectations within the corridors of the royal club.
