Al-Zaidi said: "We were displeased by the statement from the artist’s family, which contained erroneous information and was defamatory to us as a company and to other parties in Kuwait. We reserve the right to a legal response, having discovered that the rights are owned by other parties, and our contract is legitimate, always aiming to honor the stature of this great artist."
