A source close to the Jordanian delegation participating in the 2025 Arab Cup revealed that on Sunday, the location of treatment for the Nashama team player Yazan Al-Naimat, who suffered an ACL tear, will be decided.
The source told "Khaberni" that Al-Naimat, staying at the delegation's headquarters, will head to the Spitar Center specialized in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery in Doha, Qatar, on Sunday to have his condition assessed by one of the center's doctors.
It was pointed out that the place of treatment for the player will be decided after Al-Naimat is evaluated by the specialist at the Spitar Center, whether to have the surgery there in Qatar or possibly at another destination, most likely in Europe.
Captain Yazan Al-Naimat suffered an ACL tear during the quarterfinal match of the Arab Cup between Jordan and Iraq on Friday, which the Nashama won by a goal to nil.
