Khaberni - Ali Al-Batayneh, the head of the Al-Salt Greater Municipality Committee, announced a plan to establish a multi-story parking project next to the municipality building. The municipality will begin its implementation at the beginning of next year after completing all procedures, including the preparation of plans and tendering.
This was announced during a meeting held at the municipal building on Saturday, which included representatives from the Cities and Villages Development Bank, attended by the bank's branch manager in Al-Salt and the city’s investment manager. They discussed ways of cooperation, technical and financial support, and banking financing facilities for municipal service and investment projects.
Al-Batayneh provided a detailed presentation of the most prominent projects slated for execution, including the maintenance and operation of Al-Salt Heritage House, the development of a bus terminal, upgrading the vegetable market, in addition to the multi-story parking project.
He confirmed that the multi-story parking project is one of the essential solutions proposed to help solve the chronic traffic crises in the heart of Al-Salt city, which will positively reflect on organizing movement and improving the level of service provided to both citizens and traders.
The attendees emphasized the importance of adopting standards for sustainable green projects through the support of implementing solar energy systems in these projects. They also confirmed the bank's readiness to provide technical support by preparing financial feasibility studies for the proposed projects or coordinating with international organizations to obtain the necessary support.
