Establishing the Headquarters of the Arab Board of Health Specialties in Jordan

Khaberni - Ibrahim al-Badour, Minister of Health and Vice President of the Supreme Council for the Arab Board of Health Specialties, confirmed Jordan's continued welcome to host and establish the headquarters of the Arab Board of Health Specialties in the Kingdom, with an additional headquarters in Damascus, emphasizing the ongoing support provided by Jordan to the Council since its hosting in Amman in 2013.

This was stated during Dr. al-Badour's participation in the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Arab Board of Health Specialties, which was held on Saturday in the capital Amman, with the participation of the Iraqi Minister of Health, Chairman of the Council Saleh al-Hasnawi, and the Syrian Minister of Health Musab al-Ali, discussing several fundamental issues related to the Council's operations and the development of its programs.

Al-Badour also referred to Jordan's steadfast commitment to support the Arab Board, noting the logistical and administrative facilities provided by the Kingdom, particularly hosting the headquarters in Amman and creating a suitable environment that enables it to efficiently and effectively perform its duties.

The Minister of Health emphasized the importance of enhancing Arab cooperation in developing health and medical specialties, expressing appreciation for the efforts made by Arab countries in unifying medical standards and improving the level of professional medical training and education in the region.

The Arab Board of Health Specialities is a leading institution in the field of professional medical education in the Arab world, playing a pivotal role in accrediting specialized programs, standardizing training standards, organizing exams for the Arab Board, and supervising medical training programs, thereby contributing to qualifying health professionals, improving the quality of health services, and enhancing Arab health integration.
