Khaberni - In an event that brings together the world of Bollywood and world football, Indian cinema star Shahrukh Khan is preparing to meet football legend Lionel Messi in Kolkata on December 13.
This is part of the G.O.A.T India Tour 2025 events which last for three days and include four Indian cities: Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi.
Shahrukh Khan ignites excitement before the meet
Shahrukh Khan's attendance at the Salt Lake Stadium adds additional momentum to the event, especially with the great anticipation of Messi's arrival in India.
The Indian star shared the news of the meet on his X platform account, saying: "This time I will not plan a knight in Kolkata, and I hope the day (Messi) will be. See you on December 13 at Salt Lake Stadium."
Lionel Messi is scheduled to arrive in Kolkata from Miami around 1:30 AM, before starting his busy day of activities and meetings starting at 9:30 AM.
The captain of the Argentine national team, crowned with the World Cup, will hold several meetings in the city, including meeting former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly and the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee, before heading to Hyderabad at 2 PM.
Musical celebration in Hyderabad
Messi's schedule in Hyderabad includes a 7-vs-7 exhibition football match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, featuring the Chief Minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy. The evening concludes with a musical concert honoring Messi's career filled with achievements.
After Hyderabad, Messi heads to Mumbai then New Delhi, where the tour in the north concludes on December 15.
