Khaberni - The Wall Street Journal reported that a team of US special forces raided a ship in the Indian Ocean last November, and seized military materials that were headed to Iran from China.
An American official told the newspaper that the shipment included dual-use components that could potentially be used in conventional Iranian weapons, while another official reported that the United States had gathered intelligence indicating that the shipment was headed to Iranian companies specialized in supplying components for its missile program.
The newspaper added that the US forces boarded the ship hundreds of miles off the coast of Sri Lanka, noting that the ship was later allowed to continue its journey after the cargo was destroyed.
In July of last year, the Chinese embassy in Israel denied the accuracy of news reports that Beijing had delivered an air defense system to Iran, and confirmed that China does not export weapons at all to countries engaged in armed conflicts.
On June 13 of last year, Israel—with US support—launched a 12-day aggression against Iran, targeting military and nuclear sites, civilian facilities, military leaders, and nuclear scientists.
In response, Iran targeted Israeli military and intelligence headquarters with ballistic missiles and drones, then on the 24th of the same month, Washington announced a ceasefire between Tel Aviv and Tehran.
