Khaberni - The American President, Donald Trump, hinted at the possibility that the United States might direct a new strike against Iran if the Iranian leadership refuses to reach an agreement with Washington and continues its missile program.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump reiterated that resolving the conflict in the Middle East would not have been possible without the American strikes on the nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.
According to Trump, Iran may try to continue its nuclear program, adding: "It will take them a long time to rebuild it, but if they want to restore it without reaching an agreement with us, we will also destroy this program, we can destroy their missiles very quickly."
In early November, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, in a media interview stated that Iran's leadership intends to continue enriching uranium for peaceful purposes, and does not see the possibility of discussing the future of its missile program. He explained that "any sane person would not agree to give up its military component."
It is noted that on the night of June 13, Israel launched a military operation against Iran, and Iranian media reported the death of several nuclear scientists due to the Israeli strikes. Tehran carried out counter-attacks, and on June 22, the American Air Force attacked 3 Iranian nuclear facilities, and on the evening of June 23, Tehran launched a missile attack on the "Al Udeid" American base in Qatar. Later, President Trump stated that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire, which came into effect on June 24.
