Khaberni - The initiative to construct a mosque by Saudi content creator Abdullah bin Murda' garnered more than 110,000 donors in less than a day.

The Abdullah bin Murda' al-'Atif mosque building initiative, launched by the Roads Mosque Care Association on the evening of December 11, 2025, witnessed an exceptional community participation that exceeded 110,984 donors in just 19 hours, with a total of 117,450 donation transactions amounting to 3,876,430 Saudi Riyals, according to local media.

The contributions included amounts varying from 1 Riyal to 20,000 Riyals, indicating a broad range of participation and support for the project. The first phase of the initiative concluded on the evening of December 12, as part of the association's efforts to develop road mosques and enhance their services for travelers.

This interaction coincided with a period of mourning across Saudi social media platforms following the death of content creator Abdullah bin Murda' al-Qahtani "Abu Murda'" in a car accident in the Hail region.

Artists, influencers, and a wide audience mourned him, noting his beloved presence and spontaneous spirit. Clips from the accident site showed damage to the vehicle he was in with his friend "Abu Hessa," while the latter's brother confirmed that he is still receiving treatment in intensive care.

Prayers were held for the deceased at Al Rajhi Mosque before his burial in Sidiyan Cemetery, marking the absence of one of the most prominent comedic figures who gathered hundreds of thousands of followers across various platforms.
