Khaberni - Al-Hussein Club of Jordan announced the termination of the contract of their Portuguese technical director, Kim Machado, who was signed before the start of the current season, due to the poor results he achieved with the football team.
On Friday, “Al-Malaki” announced the end of the contract with the coach, expressing their gratitude and appreciation for his contributions to the team during the past period.
More than a month ago, Al-Hussein fans had called on the board of directors to urgently search for a new coach, as the team had won the Jordanian League championship for the first time in its history in the last two seasons due to a decline in team results.
Al-Malaki team will play a non-decisive match against Al-Faisaly on Saturday, with the latter needing a win to clinch the Union Shield Championship for the tenth time in its history.
Al-Hussein Sporting announced that it had reached an agreement with the national coach Bashar Bani Yasin to lead the daily training of the first team, in addition to leading the team in the upcoming match against Al-Faisaly in the Shield Championship, to ensure continuity of the technical work during this phase of the season.
He will also hold the position of assistant coach within the upcoming technical staff, as part of the management's plan to enhance the technical staff and provide the highest levels of stability for the team during the ongoing commitments.
While the name of the new coach has not yet been announced, sources indicate that negotiations are ongoing with national coach Abdullah Abu Zema to lead the team in the upcoming period.
