Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate’s spokesperson stated that the ambulance teams in the Civil Defense Directorate of Zarqa dealt today with the death of five people from one family due to breathing difficulties following a heater gas leak in the Hashemite area of the Zarqa Governorate.
The spokesperson clarified that the deceased were a mother and her children, with ages ranging between (11-14) years, of Arab nationality, and the ambulance teams in the Civil Defense Directorate of Zarqa worked on transferring the bodies to Zarqa Government Hospital.
The Public Security Directorate re-emphasizes the importance of safe and proper use of heating devices and regular inspection of the gas hoses connecting between the cylinder and the body of the heater, replacing the leak preventer with every cylinder replacement, ventilating the home periodically, and not leaving the heater on while sleeping, urging everyone to follow these steps and not to underestimate their importance.
