With Video A Teenager Burns Down His Teams Stadium After a Month from Its Relegation

Khaberni - The agonies of one of the big clubs in Finland escalated after a major fire erupted in their stadium, leading to the complete combustion of the main stand.

The British newspaper "The Sun" reported that the Haka FC faced a new shock, as more than a month after its relegation from the premier league down to the first division, one of the stands at its Factory Field Stadium burned down completely.

It mentioned that the surface of the team's stadium, which had previously won the Finnish league championship on nine occasions and was relegated to the first division last October after a disastrous season, suffered significant damage.

The same newspaper confirmed that the Finnish police arrested 3 teenagers who caused the fire last Sunday night.

Later, one of them, who is 15 years old, confessed to starting the fire.

Club President Marco Larson expressed his great anger about the incident, saying "We did not expect to face a crisis like this, we still need our stadium. We haven't yet assessed the damages, but they are likely to be substantial."

CEO Olli Huttonen stated, "This is shocking. Behavior that disregards the property of others is disgraceful, unfortunately that's what happened."

He added, "I didn't initially understand what was happening. But when reviewing footage through surveillance cameras, I saw the side stand ablaze."

He concluded, "The procedural course will involve the authorities and the insurance company assessing the damages, and after all investigations are completed, the main stand will be demolished."
