Khaberni - The relevant authorities in the North Al-Aghwar district demolished parts of a two-story house after it experienced a sudden collapse while the family was inside, without any injuries being recorded.
The administrator of North Al-Aghwar, Khaled Al-Kasasbeh, said that the operations room received a report about the collapse of parts of the house, and immediately, the concerned teams moved to the site.
Al-Kasasbeh explained that the family inside the house was evacuated immediately and in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
Al-Kasasbeh added that the Joint Services Council and the Municipality of Mu'adh bin Jabal carried out the demolition of the parts threatened by the collapse, after cutting off the electricity to the residential block as a precautionary measure.
The neighboring houses were also evacuated to ensure the safety of the residents until the demolition work was completed.
After the operation was completed, electricity was restored to the area, and residents were allowed to return to their homes.
The Ministry of Social Development also provided temporary housing for the affected family for three months, until a suitable alternative is found.
Al-Kasasbeh concluded by emphasizing the importance of regular maintenance of homes and paying attention to any danger indicators to ensure public safety and reduce such incidents.
