Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al-Safadi, along with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the brotherly United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held discussions in Abu Dhabi today that focused on ways to enhance bilateral relations and examined developments in the region.
The ministers confirmed during their meeting in Abu Dhabi the strength of the fraternal relations established between Jordan and the Emirates, and their mutual commitment to enhancing the prospects of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields, serving the interests of both nations and their peoples.
Al-Safadi and Sheikh Abdullah reviewed the developments in Gaza, and emphasized the need to adhere to the ceasefire agreement and fully implement its terms according to the plan of US President Donald Trump.
They stressed the need for the adequate and sustainable entry of humanitarian aid into the sector and to move towards the second phase of the agreement.
The ministers also discussed the situation in the West Bank and the efforts made to end serious escalation and illegal Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank.
Al-Safadi and Sheikh Abdullah also discussed a number of regional issues of mutual interest.
