Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that four members of the same family died this evening due to respiratory distress following a gas leak from a heater in the Hashimiyah area of Zarqa Governorate. The Zarqa Civil Defense Directorate ambulance teams worked on transferring the deceased to Zarqa Government Hospital. The Public Security Directorate reiterates its emphasis on the necessity of safe and proper use of heating devices, regular inspection of the gas hoses connecting the cylinder to the heater body, replacing the leak preventer with each cylinder change, ventilating the house occasionally, and not leaving the heater on while sleeping, urging everyone to follow these steps and not to be negligent.
