Khaberni - The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the general index of industrial producers' prices, which noted a decrease in the prices of industrial producers for the first ten months of 2025 by (0.70%) (less than one percentage point) compared with the same period of 2024.
On a monthly level, the general index for industrial producers' prices decreased by 0.87% for October compared with the corresponding month of 2024, and a decrease of 0.34% compared with the preceding month of the same year. Notably, the base year (2018=100), while the index for the first ten months of 2025 amounted to 106.52 compared to 107.27 for the same period of 2024.
On a monthly level, the index for October 2025 amounted to 105.20 compared to 106.12 for the same month of 2024, and the index for October 2025 was 105.20 compared to 105.56 compared with the preceding month of the same year.
In comparing the cumulative index for the first ten months of 2025 with the same period of 2024, the prices of manufacturing industries decreased by 0.94%, which have a relative significance of 88.74%, while the prices of extractive industries increased by 1.69% with a relative significance of 5.36%, and the prices of electricity increased by 0.90% with a relative significance of 5.91%.
On the commodity level, the decrease in the index for October 2025 compared with the same month of 2024 was contributed to by a 1.29% decrease in the prices of manufacturing industries, which hold a relative significance of 88.74%, while the prices of extractive industries increased by 3.88% with a relative significance of 5.36%, and the prices of electricity increased by 1.39% with a relative significance of 5.91%.
On the monthly scale, the general index of industrial producers' prices for October 2025 compared with the preceding month decreased due to a 0.56% decrease in the prices of manufacturing industries, which hold a relative significance of 88.74%, while the prices of extractive industries increased by 2.34% with a relative significance of 5.36%, and the prices of electricity increased by 0.61% with a relative significance of 5.91%.
