Khaberni - His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, congratulated the Al-Nashama team for their qualification to the quarterfinals of the Arab Cup.
The Crown Prince said during a phone call with the Al-Nashama team in Qatar, "We are all with you, and I trust each one of you."
The Crown Prince continued, "We are all proud of you, and confident in you during the next stage."
Jordanians are eagerly awaiting the national team's match against their Iraqi counterparts on Friday at 17:30 Jordan time, to decide the qualification for the semifinals in the Arab Cup 2025, in what is described as a crucial match.
The Education City Stadium in Doha will host the match, with competition heating up between the teams.
The Al-Nashama look forward to continuing their remarkable winning streak in the tournament and clinching the title.
The national team secured their qualification with a full score of 9 points, after a continuous series of victories against the teams of the UAE, Kuwait, and Egypt.
The national football team coach, Jamal Salami, emphasized the readiness of Al-Nashama for the upcoming match against the Iraqi team in the quarterfinals of the Arab Cup, affirming that the match holds "special rituals" that require increased focus and realistic and confident handling.
Salami said on Thursday, during the press conference preceding the match against the Iraqi team, that the team enters the match with high energy and a clear desire to continue the positive results achieved in the group stage, adding: "The only opponent we might face is ourselves… The matter is about our self-improvement psychologically and personally, and full utilization of past mistakes."
