Hassan added during the final session of the House of Representatives to discuss the budget: I extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the President and members of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, and all council members for their efforts in discussing the general budget bill for next year, and for their proposals and valued observations over the past days, which reflected their national responsibility, and sincere eagerness to enhance the development journey and serve the interests of Jordanian men and women in all fields.

The Prime Minister said that discussions on the budget are not only a constitutional duty, but also a practical embodiment of genuine cooperation within the framework of the constitution, between the legislative and executive authorities... This cooperation is consistently directed to us by His Majesty the King, and we all commit to it in order to serve our dear homeland.

He continued "We aim to complete the final stages of signing agreements and the financial closure of some projects so that the government can start offering tenders for the bulk of these projects before the end of next year; to be completed and finalized during the years 2028 – 2030, and these are a national strategic priority. These are not promises or wishes, but a clear announcement of what the government will implement next year and the following one."

He said "These projects include: the national water carrier project, the Aqaba – Shidiyah / Ma'an – Ghor Al-Safi railway, the Risha gas pipeline, and projects in the public transport, health, energy, and infrastructure sectors, including the commencement of the Omra City project as a nucleus for a sovereign wealth fund, in addition to other projects."

He further said "What we have allocated for capital projects and expenditures, estimated at 1.6 billion dinar, will be fully spent to contribute to stimulating broad economic sectors, alongside financing the start of implementing major strategic projects, for which we have made great efforts this year to prepare, and will begin implementing next year."

He explained "These projects in total have an investment value of more than 10 billion dollars, the vast majority of which are local and foreign investments; noting that we have doubled the capital expenditure on the national water carrier to reach a quarter billion dinar over the next four years, and have allocated about 100 million dinar for the next three years for the Risha gas project."

He continued saying "We seek to open the field for public subscription in part of these projects during the next phase; to expand the base of beneficiaries and participants in building these projects and benefitting from them."

He renewed assurance that the government is committed to working side by side with the House of Representatives during all stages of budget implementation, and continues in its approach based on transparency, cooperation, and openness to all opinions and suggestions, fully believing that our shared national goals are much larger than any differences in opinion, and that the interest of Jordan and Jordanians always remains our compass that guides us all, and our shared project for which we are accountable.
