Khaberni - The former minister, deputy, and senator Amjad Hazza' al-Majali said on Thursday that the project of the new city is an illusion and a real estate speculation with the money of the poor and social security retirees, as stated in a post by al-Majali on his Facebook page.

Omracity is not a project nor is it the ideal city...! It's a transparent cover for a repeated speculation scheme sold to people in the name of development..! It is a neatly arranged trap, appearing as a futuristic vision and a neat cover for a brazen land swallowing operation, executed with the same recipe that has burned and exposed itself repeatedly.
What is happening is not development:-
What is happening is organized looting dressed in a tie and speaking in the language of "investment" the same miserable scenario, lands being devoured, prices being inflated, people starving... Then the project disappears leaving behind ruins reminiscent of free-zone schemes! Diabolical thinking.
Putting social security funds amounting to tens of millions, in addition to more than (12) billion dinars ruined by the transient team of governments that landed upon us from nowhere, controlling our fates and dealing with our lands as if they were a farm for sale and purchase even to our enemies..! This is not a risk..! This is a gamble with people's livelihoods.
Turning the savings of the poor, orphans, widows, civilian and military retirees, and workers into fuel for real estate speculation is not an administrative error, it is a blatant attack on people's right to security and dignity and a crime that rises to the level of high treason creating a severe reckoning for them.
The project of Omracity today is not the utopian city that Ibn Khaldun called for..! It is a complete robbery operation, only delayed in revealing its real name.
Those who ask people to "trust" this "project" are asking them to forget a long history of lies and fictitious projects, and there are legitimate fears related to international agreements that affect the sovereignty of the nation and the country that was born on paper and died on paper, so fear your Lord, you people.
In conclusion, we call on His Majesty the King to instruct the government owning the project to halt this project...!
