Khaberni - Iraqi national team coach Graham Arnold confirmed during the press conference that precedes the match against Jordan in the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup, that the Jordanian team is a strong team, but his own team is fully prepared for this match.
Arnold mentioned that the tournament represents a significant opportunity for a number of players to prove themselves in preparation for their selection in the playoff match lineup, explaining that the team is experiencing some absences due to injuries, in addition to the absence of player Hussein Ali due to suspension.
He clarified that the players are in good mental condition, citing the team's performance against Algeria when they played almost a complete game with numerical deficits. He added, "I achieved what was required in the last three matches, and I chose players from the local league and was positively surprised by their performance."

About readiness, Arnold confirmed that Mohanad Ali will be available to play, while the participation of goalkeeper Jalal Hassan remains undecided as of now, noting that the short time period between matches requires giving the players more rest.
The coach also appreciated the support of the fans, saying, "We have seen the clear impact of the crowd in the UAE game, where the team came back after being behind, thanks to strong support."
Arnold concluded by praising the development of the Jordanian national team, confirming his follow-up on them over the past ten years, and noting their significant progress and qualification to the World Cup.
