Media reports confirmed that Real Madrid has decided about the future of coach Xabi Alonso with the team during the current season.
Patrick Berger, the media person at Sky German network, mentioned that the "Royal" management will not decide to dismiss the Spanish coach despite rumors about the possibility of dispensing with his services.
He explained: "Coach Xabi Alonso faced great pressure after Real Madrid's home loss against Manchester City with a score of 1-2 at Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg of the Champions League, a match that once again revealed the technical instability of the team and its inability to keep up with the high pace in major encounters".
And he added: "The loss put Alonso under scrutiny, especially since the team appeared far from the required organization, and failed to create sufficient offensive solutions despite the significant public support".
Despite this, reports indicate that the club management will not make an immediate decision to dismiss him, but has given him another chance through the match against Deportivo Alaves in the league, hoping that the team performs well enough to calm the atmosphere inside the "Merengue".
